The Finance Manager plays a critical role in managing the accounting and financial functions of the organization. This position ensures compliance with accounting regulations, oversees financial reporting, and provides strategic insights to support decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, proven experience in finance management, and a commitment to fostering a culture of accuracy, integrity, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
  • Manage the financial reporting process, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data, providing key insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the department.
  • Coordinate and liaise with external auditors and tax authorities during audits and tax filings.
  • Stay updated on accounting regulations, industry trends, and best practices to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals, fostering a positive work environment, and promoting professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience.
  • CPA or CMA certificate is a must.
  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager, or in a similar senior accounting role.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing and developing a team.
  • Demonstrated integrity, ethics, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Fluent in English & Arabic.
