The Market Research Associate plays a critical role in gathering and analyzing data to provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. The role involves conducting primary research, preparing comprehensive reports, and collaborating with teams to ensure findings align with client business objectives. This position requires strong analytical, communication, and project management skills, along with proficiency in research tools and data analysis methods.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze qualitative and quantitative data from primary research.
- Track and monitor trends, market developments, and competitive activities to provide insights.
- Design questionnaire and discussion guides that align with research objectives and gather relevant data.
- Conduct surveys, interviews, and focus groups to capture customer insights and preferences.
- Prepare comprehensive research reports, market assessments, and presentations to support business decision-making.
- Collaborate with consulting teams and clients to understand research needs and ensure alignment with client business goals.
- Oversee the execution of fieldwork to ensure high-quality data collection and timely project completion.
- Work closely with the consulting team to ensure that research findings are integrated into broader client strategies and solutions.
- Utilize industry-standard market research tools and methodologies to collect, organize, and interpret data.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in market research, business consulting, or data analysis, preferably in a consulting environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large data sets and provide actionable recommendations.
- Ability to understand business problems and provide research-based solutions to support strategic decision-making.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with clients and stakeholders effectively.
- Experience using market research tools and databases (e.g., Gartner, Statista), and proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools.
- High attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and comprehensive research reports.
- Experience managing multiple research projects, timelines, and deliverables.
- Must be fluent in both English and Arabic.
Education and Academic Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
